Hello everyone, I have a 2005 foton 404 that I had bought from rural king not having any serious problems until last summer. After mowing for a good 2 hours, idled all the way up, I pushed in the clutch pushed the hand throttle all the way down and it completely just croaked. After repeatedly Turning it over nothing ever happened. I examined everything and nothing looked wrong or hurt. Then I checked the fuel gauge.
Knowing the gauge is off by a little it was near e but it usually had at least a gallon and A half left. Moving on to later this summer. I had noticed after hauling it to the house the day it stopped, that the stop engine lever wouldn't pull out all the way. After pulling the whole fuel pump apart I found that the fuel shut off valve was stuck shut so I freed it and sprayed it with WD-40 knowing it'd help.Ever since freeing the shut off valve and putting the pump back on I've bled all the lines I've could and continued tweaking small things up to this time. Today I bled it again but I came to find after not getting 2 out of 3 fuel lines to push fuel to the injectors that I had put the fuel pump on wrong. After once again taking it off and doing it right I put it back on and pumped the primer and turned it over and got all three lines to get fuel up to the injectors.
But it still will not start. I'm not a diesel mechanic but I'm learning things everyday. If someone could help me that would be great thank you.
